Sometimes getting lost has its advantages; taking a wrong turn somewhere we were suddenly hit with the possibility of exploring an 11th century monastery, the Abbaye Ste Marguerite. Only 2.5 kilometers away, albeit straight up. The darn thing about it, not only did we have to walk our bike up to the ruins, but we had to walk it down as well.

Once there though, it was pure delight. Just us, a bottle of good French wine, a bagette of freshly baked bread, about a zillion LIZARDS, and this wondrous structure with a heavenly view of the valley below.
