Your picture of the Tuscany scene looking on to what
I figure were olive trees brought to mind when they harvest the olives, thus the
picture. I saw this photograph of Manet sitting in a bentwood chair, you sitting
in a wood chair, the both of you contemplating something. So naturally, I put
you in his lap. Where else could you be? Manet was done in sepia, you w. blue,
and the background trying feebly to portray the golden glow of the area, in
yellow, gold, burnt gold and violet.
